OBJECTIVES OF THE RESEARCH – DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY

• Development and improvement of technology for the improvement and recovery of sandy soils
• Improving the variety of plant species and varieties recommended in cultivation on sandy soils
• Creating new genotypes in some plants specific to sandy soils (peanuts, cowpeas, garden beans, watermelons, tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, leeks, melons)
• Improvement of species cultivation technologies that make effective use of ecological conditions in sandy and sandy soil areas
• Elaboration of technologies for the cultivation of sweet potato in the context of climate change and elaboration of measures to promote this culture in Romania
• Development of research in agrochemistry, biochemistry and physiology for the foundation of new plant cultivation technologies
• Development and foundation of an integrated system for the prevention and control of pathogens, pests and weeds in crops on sandy soils
• Crop and farm management
• Protection of ecosystems in areas with sandy soils
• Getting an assortment of rosé, red and special aperitif wines
• Determination of quality and recovery of agricultural production
